LITERARY EVENING WITH JOHN RODGAARD: FROM ACROSS THE SEA
Tuesday 25th October from 18.30 – 20.00 | £10.00 per person*

We are excited to welcome Captain John Rodgaard, Chairman of The 1805 Club – to discuss his book: From Across the Sea: North Americans in Nelson’s Navy. It is the first book that explores in-depth, the varied contributions of North Americans to the Royal Navy during Great Britain’s wars against Revolutionary and Napoleonic France.

Members with an interest in naval or maritime history are bound to be fascinated by the edited compilation of thematic and biographical essays from top specialists in the field. As well as by the several never- before-published illustrations depicting some of the key North Americans as well as the ships and naval battles in which they were a part.

Upon arrival, members and guests will be welcomed with a Drinks Reception followed by a live one-hour talk and an opportunity to ask Captain Rodgaard any questions.
