Cigars on The Terrace – Churchill’s 150th Birthday

CIGAR’S ON THE TERRACE
Wednesday 27th November at 16.00 | Ribbon Bar & Terrace | £30.00

If alive, Churchill would be celebrating his 150th birthday next month, at the end of November. The great man would surely mark such an event with a cigar and something in his glass. So to pay our respects and conclude a tremendous year of cigars, made especially memorable through the help of Hunters & Frankau, join what will be a select few for a Romeo y Julieta Churchill Tubos.

It was about 75 years ago now that Churchill agreed to lend his name to this house of cigars. Today he is synonymous. The Tubos is a Julieta No. 2 vitola, ring gauge 47, and seven inches in length that ensures richly-developing flavours. The cigar has a statesmanlike quality, appropriately enough.

An extra layer might be prudent for the Ribbon Bar terrace deep into winter on November 27th. Equally, the warmth of affection for Churchill will defy any cold snap.
