The Rag offers 75 en-suite bedrooms and two luxury Suites, providing all you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay in the heart of St James’s.
All of our rooms are restful spaces where every detail has been considered to ensure that you feel at home. Guest rooms come complete a host of amenities including toiletries, dressing gowns, morning newspapers and tea and coffee making facilities, so that you can put the kettle on as soon as your arrive. For your comfort and convenience, each room has air-conditioning, a television, radio and phone, and access to complimentary and secure Wi-Fi.
All stays include continental breakfast which is served in the bright and spacious Pall Mall Room (7.00 – 10.00 on Weekdays and 8.00 – 10.00 on Weekends). Room Service is available daily from 12.30 – 6.30pm. The Club also offers a laundry and dry cleaning service (Mon-Fri) and secure on-site parking for the duration of your stay.

Please Note: A discretionary contribution to the Club Staff Fund will be levied on all room bookings. £5 per room (for one night) and £10 for two nights or more. Please let us know at the time of booking if you do not wish for this charge to be added to your bill.
Sandhurst and Dartmouth Suites
For Special Occasions or Longer Stays
For a truly special occasion, Members are invited to book one of our spacious guest suites. Nestled on the sixth floor and named after the famous military colleges many of our Members have attended, the impressive Sandhurst Suite and Dartmouth Suite each offer a large double room with generous sized bed, en suite marble bathroom and spacious lounge area.

If you are celebrating a special occasion or would like to add some magic to surprise a loved-one, we offer chocolates, Champagne and flowers available to pre-order so that they are ready and waiting in-room when you arrive. Our Head Housekeeper Jacqueline will take care of all the finer details – no request is too big or small and she will be happy to help you create a special memory.
Family Stays
We Welcome Members for Multi-Generational and Family Stays
At The Rag, we are committed to nurturing a sense of community that is accessible to all, including those with young families. Children of all ages are welcome to stay and are permitted to dine at The Ribbon Bar and Terrace, or to enjoy afternoon tea in The Drawing Room with their parents or grandparents.
For those wishing to book a multi-generational or family stay, our Family Suite is comprised of an adjoining double and twin room so that you can spread out and relax together. Cots are available upon request.
