Cigars on the Terrace

The winter months certainly reduce the opportunities for the pleasures of a cigar. Weather warnings are from October to March especially acute for those who enjoy the dark art.
A blessing amid many at The Rag is that the Ribbon Terrace is, thanks to a robust awning, fit for everything that the skies can throw, so a valedictory cigar evening for 2026 will take place on November 19th. On this day, in 1493 Columbus arrived at Puerto Rico. He had already set foot on Cuban land the previous year for which everyone attending this evening will owe thanks.
Established protocol will be followed for the evening; namely a cigar from the mother island with Dan Pink from Hunters & Frankau (https://cigars.co.uk/) at hand to explain the nuances of what is the evening’s centerpiece. To accompany this, something commensurate with the season to ensure attendees are both warm, thanks to what is in the evening’s bottle, and dry on the back of the Ribbon Terrace’s all-seasons infrastructure.
