Sons and Daughters Dinner
Saturday 26th September at 18:30 | Coffee Room | £100.00
As a first for The Rag, we are excited to welcome you to attend our inaugural ‘Sons and Daughters’ Dinner on Saturday 26th September. This well-known event is a tradition in Clubland and is intended to gently introduce the next generation of Members to the Club, while showcasing exactly what The Rag has to offer.
In the words of our Chairman Colonel Neil Johnson, who will be hosting the evening, “We probably all remember our first time at the RAG, possibly as a guest? Something we saw or experienced prompted us to consider joining and that’s precisely the aim of this event. The definition can be expanded to include nephews, nieces and, for the more senior of us, grandchildren. Do think about attending and hosting. We can guarantee a memorable evening.”
The evening will be Black Tie, while remaining relaxed and a fun evening for all. Starting in the Smoking Room at 1830, members and their guests will be welcomed with a glass of fizz on arrival for a short piano reception, before heading up to the Coffee Room for supper, where there will be some roaming entertainment. We then hope members and their families will join us back in the Smoking Room for some after dinner fun at ‘The Races’.
The Rag Team will also be on hand throughout the evening for anyone wishing to have their family photo taken against the back drop of the Napoleon Fireplace or another distinguishable RAG feature.
We look forward to welcoming you to what we hope will be the first of many enjoyable ‘Sons & Daughters’ Dinners at your Club.
