We are privileged to welcome violinists Lily Harwood and Alexandra Peel, an exceptional duo who have each made their mark on the classical music stage.
Both alumnae of the Royal College of Music, Lily and Alexandra have performed at prestigious venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, the Barbican, and the Royal Festival Hall, appearing as soloists across the UK and Europe. Between them, they have won numerous accolades, recorded for BBC Radio 3 and Academy Award-winning Slick Films, and collaborated with esteemed ensembles. Their performance at The Rag promises an afternoon of exquisite music, making for a truly memorable Easter Sunday.

Meet Violinists Lily Harwood and Alexandra Peel
Violinists Lily Harwood and Alexandra Peel are accomplished musicians who have made significant contributions to classical music. Both graduates of the Royal College of Music, Lily was a Lambert Scholar and winner of the RCM Violin Competition, while Alexandra was a Yehudi Menuhin Scholar who made her Royal Albert Hall debut in 2013. They have performed at prestigious venues across the UK and Europe, appeared as soloists with leading orchestras, and recorded for BBC Radio 3, BBC 4, and Academy Award-winning Slick Films.

We enlist their talents to to inspire a love of music for the next generation and people who do not have access to music through our participation projects, offer Young Artists performance opportunities at concerts and festivals throughout the UK, and build their communication, teaching and personal skills through professional development.
