Burns Night Supper

Burns Night Supper

The Army and Navy Club recently hosted its much-anticipated annual Burns Night Supper on Friday, 25th January, an evening brimming with tradition, camaraderie, and celebration in honour of Scotland’s beloved national poet, Robert Burns. Members gathered in the Pall Mall Room, which was transformed into a lively hub of music, poetry, and festivity.

Chef Hart once again delighted attendees with a sumptuous menu of traditional Burns Night fare, sparing members the effort of hours in the kitchen and delivering a culinary experience to remember. The evening featured rousing live music, heartfelt poetry readings, and spirited toasts to both the lassies and the ladies, ensuring a joyful tribute to the Bard of Ayrshire.

Special guests and surprise performances added to the excitement, making this a truly unforgettable occasion and a fitting launch to the Club’s 2024 Member Events Programme. With glasses raised high to Robbie Burns, the night celebrated heritage, humour, and the enduring legacy of Scotland’s cherished poet.
