DESCRIPTION:Guided tour of the building lasting approximately one hour\, looking at the history and development of the Library and its collections\, with a chance to see the historic grated-floor backstacks and newer parts of the building\, such as the Art Room. The tour is followed by supper\, served in the Coffee Room\, from 19.15hrs. \nPlease note that the tour will include a lot of walking and that some areas of the building have metal-grated floors and so sensible shoes are recommended.
